Last updated 18 August 2026Etagio is a shared home for two (or more) people, so we only ask for what we actually need to run it. Here's what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Etagio is a small, independent team building the app this page describes. If anything here doesn't sit right with you, tell us. We'll listen.
What we collect
Early access signups
If you sign up for early access, we store your email address, the language you signed up in, and where you came from (like which page or campaign link brought you here) so we can tell what's working. Nothing else.
Your account and household, once Etagio is live
Once you sign in, we store your email address (to sign you in) and whatever you and your household choose to add: rooms, spots, things, notes, and photos if you snap them. It's your home's inventory, stored so you can get to it from any device.
How we use it
We use your email to send you early access news and the occasional update, and later, to sign you in. We use your household's data to run the app: showing you what's in your home and keeping it in sync between the people who share it. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone, and we don't run ads.
Who we share it with
Etagio runs on Supabase, which hosts our database, sign-in, and photo storage. They only ever act on our instructions. We don't hand your data to data brokers or ad networks. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set tracking cookies today. When we do add analytics, it'll be a cookieless, privacy-respecting tool that can't identify you individually, it'll only tell us things like how many people visited a page, not who you are. We'll update this section if that ever changes.
How long we keep it
We keep early access signups until launch, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Once you have a real account, your household's data stays for as long as your household does. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from early access emails anytime (there's a link in every one), and you can ask us to see, correct, or delete whatever we hold on you. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and, if it's a big enough change, let you know directly.
